The Weekly Food Basket project completely transforms the giving experience, allowing every donor to take an active role in the tzedakah. It functions like a regular supermarket, where anyone can fill a “shopping cart” with products of their choice. The basket is then delivered to a needy family in a dignified and discreet manner.
The Weekly Food Basket introduces a brand-new concept in food assistance. Suddenly, giving becomes real and personal —just as personal as shopping for our own families. It’s not just about providing credit card details and moving on. It’s an incredible opportunity to picture the family in your mind, think about what they need, and personally choose items to give them, week after week, delivered straight to their door!
